It is with much pleasure and excitement that I announce our guest for this month's virtual seminar call, Vickie Roundtree - a fellow John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker and friend. Leading yourself and others with intent require efforts in several specific areas.  Before you can lead others, you have to start with yourself first. On this call with Vickie, we will discuss the importance of living on purpose, share tips on how you can lead yourself ans start living on purpose.

About Vickie Roundtree

Vickie Roundtree graduated from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She has worked in Corporate America for 26 years holding positions in the areas of sales, marketing, IT, and supply chain management.  Vickie also has a number of certifications in information technology (IT) and spent the last 9 years of her corporate career working in IT and Supply Chain Management.  During Vickie's years in Corporate America, she has led  teams of people to achieve great results as while inspiring and motivating them to  achieve their own personal goals.

Vickie made a career change in 2009 and launched her business as a public speaker, trainer & coach. She is a Les Brown platinum speaker in addition to being a Certified John Maxwell Coach and Trainer. Vickie has a heart filled with compassion and a passion to serve and to make a profound impact on the lives that she touches.  She is on a mission to educate women around the world with basic life skills. Life skills that allow those women to embrace their power and in turn create and spread greatness through the lives they touch.

A mother to three children, Vickie is an avid supporter of Operation Smile helping them to perform necessary surgeries for children around the world that have been challenged with a cleft lip or cleft palate.

Freedom is not what you think

For all the talk of "freedom" and "independence" going on this week, many are still not free.  The reason...?  There is a lack of willingness to dream and make some sacrifice to relentlessly pursue that dream.  Think of all the courage, sacrifice and willingness it took the fathers of this nation (USA) to fight until they achieved their dreams of freedom and were able to declare independence and for us to have and boast about this week.  They did something that mattered.

Today you don't need to sacrifice as much as they.  And so my question for you:
